The service
JSON Formatter is a free web tool for pretty-printing, validating, and minifying JSON in the browser. Use it only with data you have the right to process. These terms apply to the software as published; the operator of a hosted instance may add their own terms.
No warranty
The tool is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose or that validation matches every JSON parser in production. Always confirm critical payloads with the systems that will consume them.
Acceptable use
Do not abuse the hosting provider, scrape the site in a way that degrades service, or attempt to interfere with ads or security controls. Do not use the tool to commit crimes. Generated output is your responsibility.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the authors and the site operator are not liable for lost data, incorrect formatting, downtime, or damages arising from use of the tool. Keep copies of important JSON outside the browser.
Advertising
A hosted instance may display Google AdSense units when the operator configures real publisher and slot IDs. Ads are not endorsements. Third-party ad terms apply when ads are enabled.
